Infinix Note 8i smartphone was officially launched in the country on 15th October 2020. 

Infinix Note 8i smartphone comes with a 6.78-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720x1640 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20.5:9. It measures 171.40 x 77.70 x 8.90mm (height x width x thickness).

Infinix Note 8i runs Android 10 operating system. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor. It comes with 6GB of RAM and is powered by a 5200mAh battery. The Infinix Note 8i supports proprietary fast charging.

As for the cameras, the Infinix Note 8i on the rear packs a 48-megapixel primary camera; a second 2-megapixel camera; a third 2-megapixel camera and a fourth aI lens camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It sports a 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies.

Infinix Note 8i runs XOS 7.1 based on Android 10 operating system and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 512GB) with a dedicated slot. The phone is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. 

Connectivity options on the smartphone include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, USB OTG, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks). 

Sensors on the Infinix Note 8i include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The smartphone supports face unlock. It was launched in Ice Diamond, Obsidian Black, and Tranquil Blue colours.
