Realme has announced the launch of a new 5G smartphone dubbed the Realme 7 5G. The handset with a punch-hole display is scheduled to launch on November 19.
Realme 7 5G launch will be live streamed on November 19 via the company’s YouTube channel, Twitter and Facebook accounts as well. The launch event will start at 10:00 am GMT which is 3:30 pm IST for viewers in India.
There are no official details on the specifications of the Realme 7 5G but it’s expected to be a rebranded version of the Realme V5 which is available only in China. Recently, a Realme smartphone with the same model number as the Realme V5 was spotted on the NTBC website.
Realme 7 5G is expected to come with a 6.5-inch 90Hz display, MediaTek’s Dimensity 720 chipset, and a 5,000mAh battery. It could also house four rear cameras with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and two 2-megapixel sensors. Up front, Realme 7 5G is said to feature a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
Realme 7 5G is also rumoured to start at CNY 1,499 ( ₹17,000 approx) for the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, and CNY 1,899 ( ₹21,400 approx) for the 8GB+128 variant. There’s no confirmation yet but Realme 7 5G could launch as the global version of the Realme V5.
