Good news everyone especially to Filipino ARMYs: It has been confirmed that BTS is Smart Communications' latest ambassadors! The company unveiled the highly anticipated commercial for its campaign headlined by international pop sensation BTS.

Earlier today, Smart has hinted about the campaign through their social media accounts. The leading telco brand's Chairman, Manny Pangilinan, also tweeted about this, complete with hearts in Smart and BTS' signature colors.

The global superstars—RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—will lead the telco giant's 2021 campaign, "Live Smarter, Live with Purpose," which will be released in the first quarter of this year. The goal of this partnership is to encourage the youth to live with passion and purpose.

Over the years, the group, noted for its songs which deal with youth issues and contain positive messages, worked its way up to become a globally recognized musical act with legions of fans.

The Grammy-nominated group recently made their comeback with their album BE, and it was well-received by fans across the world. The lead track "Life Goes On" was specially produced by BTS to bring comfort to ARMYs during the pandemic.

The septet last visited Manila in May 2017 for its "Wings" tour. The Smart deal is the latest of several brand campaigns for BTS, which also recently partnered with global fast food chain McDonald's for a special meal.
