Samsung Galaxy A22 5G has been launched with MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and a 48MP triple rear camera setup. Today, The company launched two new smartphones – Galaxy A22 and Galaxy A22 5G. Both the handsets run on Android 11 OS out of the box with OneUI 3.1 on top out of the box.
Samsung Galaxy A22 5G features a 6.6-inches TFT LCD Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution display with a waterdrop notch design. Under the hood, The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and coupled with up to 8GB + 128GB expandable storage.
The smartphone is equipped with a triple rear camera setup that houses a 48-Megapixel (primary) camera with an aperture of f/1.8 + 5-Megapixel (Ultrawide) sensor with f/2.2 aperture + 2-Megapixel (depth) sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies & videos, it has an 8-Megapixel front-facing shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G is backed by a 5000mah battery and supports 15W fast charging technology. In terms of connectivity, The smartphone includes a dual sim slot, 5G, 4G, Wi-fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The sensor onboard includes an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, ambient light sensor, compass, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. In terms of dimensions, the device measures 167.2 x 76.4 x 9.0mm thickness and weighs 203g. It come in black, mint, violet, and white color finishes.
