Vivo has added a new smartphone model in Y12 series, called the Vivo Y12A. The device has been revealed in Singapore and Thailand. Vivo Y12a is another budget device from the company and it seems that it is a rebadged version of Vivo Y12s 2021 that debuted in Vietnam last month.
As for the specifications, Vivo Y12A features a 6.51 inches IPS LCD waterdrop notch display with an HD+ ( 720 x 1600 pixels ) resolution along with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone is running on Android 11 OS operating system with FunTouch OS 11 on top.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with Snapdragon 439 octa-core chipset coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. In terms of storage, the handset is accompanied by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot.
In terms of optics, the Vivo Y12A boasts a dual camera that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, the smartphone has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera under the dewdrop notch.
For connectivity options the smartphone includes 4G LTE, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, a micro USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. In terms of sensors, the Vivo Y12 includes Gyroscope, Proximity, Accelerometer, Ambient light, Accelerometer, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Vivo Y12A comes in a single configuration of 3GB + 32GB that is priced at 4499 baht ( Rs. 10608 approx ). It comes in Phantom black and Mint blue colour options. The company has set an introductory price of 4299 baht ( Rs. 10136 approx) as seen on Lazada Thailand.
