MarQ M3 Smart was revealed in India as the first smartphone from Flipkart’s brand. Flipkart brand MarQ already has a bunch of smart products offering like Air conditioners, headphones, and more. Now the company entered in the smartphone market as well.
As for the specifications, the MarQ M3 Smart features 6.088 inches U-shaped notch display with HD+ resolution ( 720 x 1560 pixels ) resolution and 281 PPI pixel density. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 148 x 70.9 x 10.75mm and weighs 185 grams.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with a 1.6GHz octa-core chipset that might be Unisoc SC9863 but the listing hasn’t confirmed the exact chipset name. It is accompanied by 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot.
The MarQ M3 Smart boasts a dual rear camera that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor, and a depth sensor coupled with an LED flash. For selfies and video calls, the phone sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera under the U-shaped notch. The device is running on Android 10 but it is not clear whether the company added custom skin or provided stock android.
The smartphone comes equipped with a 5000mah battery that is touted to provide 24 hours of continuous music playback and it also supports reverse charging as well. For connectivity, the phone includes Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 4G LTE, GPS, a micro USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
As for the pricing and availability, the MarQ M3 Smart comes in a solo configuration of 2GB RAM + 32GB storage priced at Rs 7,999 but it is currently available at a discount price of Rs. 6,299. The company offered the smartphone in two color options namely black and blue. The phone will go for sale on October 7 via Flipkart.
