Realme 8i smartphone has been launched in India on 9th September 2021. The handset comes with a hole-punch display design and feature triple rear cameras. The Realme 8i carries a 120Hz display and a 50-megapixel primary camera. The Realme 8i is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 processor. It also powered by a 5000mAh battery with fast charging supports.

The Realme 8i comes with a 6.60-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080x2412 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 processor. It comes with 4GB of RAM. The device runs on Android 11 operating system and is powered by a 5000mAh battery. The Realme 8i supports proprietary fast charging.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Realme 8i on the rear packs a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture; a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera setup has autofocus. The phone sports a 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls.

The Realme 8i runs Realme UI 2.0 is based on Android 11 and packs 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 256GB) with a dedicated slot. The smartphone is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. The device measures 164.10 x 75.50 x 8.50mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 194.00 grams. 

Connectivity options on the Realme 8i include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, Micro-USB, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the device include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The smartphone comes in Space Black and Space Purple colours.
