Redmi 10 Prime was revealed in India as the new budget smartphone from Xiaomi’s subsidiary. The smartphone comes with a 50MP quad rear camera, large battery, MediaTek octa-core chipset, 90Hz IPS display, fast charging support, and more. This is another 4G smartphone from Redmi and it is the first smartphone to have a 50MP sensor under this price segment.

Redmi 10 Prime features a 6.5 inches IPS LCD display with a 90Hz fast refresh rate, Full-HD+ ( 1080 X 2400 pixels ) resolution, 405ppi pixel density, and gorilla glass 3 protection. Under the hood, it comes powered with a MediaTek Helio G88 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. It is accompanied by 4GB/6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of storage that can be extended by a microSD slot.

In terms of camera, the smartphone boasts a triple rear camera that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with 120-degree Field of View, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, the phone sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera under the punch-hole at the top center. The device is running on Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 skin on top.

The smartphone comes equipped with a 6000mah battery that is touted to provide 192 hours of continuous music playback and it supports 18W fast charging while the company packed a 22.5W fast charger in the box. For connectivity, the phone includes 4G VoLTE, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, IR blaster, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Additionally, the Redmi 10 Prime comes with dual graphite sheets for heat dissipation, stereo speakers, and splash resistance.

Redmi 10 Prime comes in two configurations including 4GB + 64GB option priced at Rs. 12,499 and 6GB + 128GB for Rs. 14,499. The company offered the smartphone in three color options namely Phantom Black, Astral Blue, and Bifrost White. The phone will go for sale on September 7 at 12 pm via Amazon.in, Mi.com, Mi Home, and some offline stores as well.
