Oppo K9s was revealed in China as the new budget 5G device. The smartphone comes with the latest 5G Qualcomm 700 series chipset, fast refresh rate display, triple rear camera, big battery, fast charging, and more. The phone has similar specifications to the recently launched Realme Q3s.

Oppo K9s features a 6.59 inches TFT LCD display, 120Hz fast refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 401 PPI screen density, 90.8% screen-to-body ratio, 96% NTSC color gamut, 600 nits peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and Panda Yiqiang Glass protection. 

Under the hood, the Oppo K9s is powered with a Snapdragon 778G octa-core Soc that comes coupled with Adreno 642L GPU. The smartphone is running on Android 11 with Color OS 11.2 on top. It is accompanied by up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. In terms of Dimensions, the device measures 164.43 x 75.88 x 8.52mm and weighs 199 grams.

The Oppo K9s boasts a triple rear camera that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies and video calling, the phone sports a 16-megapixel front-facing camera under the punch-hole at the top left corner.  The handset is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 30W fast charging.

For connectivity, the Oppo K9s includes 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, USB TYPE-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone comes with an x-axis linear motor, virtual mechanical keyboard, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. . The smartphone comes in three color options namely Obsidian Warrior, Neon Silver Sea, and Magic Purple Quicksand. 

The OPPO K9s is priced at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 19,900) for the 6GB/128GB model and CNY 1,899 (around Rs. 22,200) for the 8GB/128GB variant. The smartphone will go for sale from November 1 and the company provided a 200 yuan introductory offer in China and there are no words for the availability in other countries.
