Lava Agni 5G was revealed in India as the first 5G smartphone from the Indian Tech Giant. The handset comes with a fast refresh rate punch-hole display, a MediaTek octa-core 5G chipset, 64-megapixel quad rear camera, big battery, fast charging, and more.
Lava Agni 5G features a 6.78 inches punch-hole IPS display with Full-HD+ ( 1080 x 2460 pixels ) resolution, 90Hz fast refresh rate, Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and 91.7 percent screen to body ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with a MediaTek Dimensity 810 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It is accompanied by 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot.
The Lava Agni 5G boasts a quad rear camera that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture, a 5-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth lens. For selfies and video calling, the smartphone sports a 16-megapixel front-facing camera under the punch-hole at the top center. The device is running on Android 11 out of the box.
The Lava Agni 5G is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 30W fast charging. For connectivity, the device includes 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth 5.1, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 168.8 x 76.8 x 9.1 mm and weighs 204 grams. Sensors onboard, the handset sports Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Magnetometer, Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Lava Agni 5G comes in a solo configuration of 8GB + 128GB priced at Rs. 19,999 but the company offered a pre-booking offer of Rs. 2,000 so it reduces the price to Rs. 17,999 but the customer has to pay Rs. 500 for pre-booking. The handset is available for pre-order on Amazon, Flipkart, Lava website, and offline retailers starting from November 18.
