HTC has announced a new entry-level smartphone, called the HTC Wildfire E2 Plus. The new handset is the successor of HTC Wildfire E2, which was launched in August last year 2020. The device comes with a 6.8-inch HD+ display, octa-core Unisoc Tiger T610 processor, a quad rear camera setup, and a 4000mAh battery, there is no fast charging though.

The HTC Wildfire E2 Plus features a 6.8-inch HD+ display with 720×1600 pixels resolution. Further, the display comes with 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone packs an octa-core Unisoc Tiger T610 processor. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The storage is expandable via microSD card. As for software, the handset runs on Android 11 operating system. 

The HTC Wildfire E2 Plus comes with a quad rear camera setup. It has a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 2-megapixel depth shooter, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone uses an 8-megapixel shooter. There’s also a 4600mAh battery, there is no fast charging though. It includes a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. 

Earlier this year, HTC launched Wildfire E3 in Russia. The smartphone features a 6.51-inch HD+ display with 1560 x 720 pixels. It has Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P22. It has 4GB RAM with up to 128GB storage and quad rear camera setup with 13-megapixel primary sensor. On the front, the phone features a 13-megapixel selfie shooter

HTC Wildfire E3 is backed up by 4000mAh built-in battery with 10W charging and it runs on Android 10 OS. It features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor in addition to AI face unlock. The smartphone also has face recognition as well. The handset supports dual-SIM, 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS on the connectivity front. Additionally, the device has a 3.5mm headphone jack as well.

As for the official pricing and availability, the HTC Wildfire E3 is priced at RUB 12,990 (roughly Rs 13,500) in Russia for the single 4GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration. The smartphone was launched in Black and Blue colours. There is no information on international availability as of yet.
