Huawei P50 Pocket is the next foldable smartphone that comes with various new features and allows Huawei to enter the new era of the handset category dominated by some big tech makers. Meanwhile, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), Ross Young revealed that the smartphone will feature a 6.85-inch main panel and a 1-inch cover display.

The latest findings revealed that the P50 Pocket is a vertically foldable display version of the Huawei P50 Pro. However, the company has decided to put some extra flavor of style with its new rear design schematics on the back. Huawei has confirmed this new device will launch on December 23, 2021, along with other smart products including the new Huawei Watch D smartwatch that comes with a blood pressure monitoring system.

A previous report reveals that Huawei P50 Pocket specs have a 6.8-inch main display that folds inwards. On the rear side, it has a 1-inch screen to show notifications and other quick notifications. The small display could also be used as a viewfinder to take high-quality selfies from the rear camera. Under the hood, it may equip Kirin 9000 4G (initially), followed by Snapdragon 888 version. 

Huawei P50 Pocket features 66W super charge technology to rapidly charge back but the battery capacity is likely to be low in size. The smartphone could feature a P50 camera system that consists of a 50 MP True-Chroma Camera (Color, f/1.8 aperture), 13 MP Ultra-Wide Angle Camera (f/2.2 aperture), 12 MP Telephoto Camera (f/3.4 aperture, OIS), support AF.

There’s a new hinge system to back the vertical flip-style fold design, as compared to the Huawei Mate X2. It’s being seen Huawei P50 Pocket has a new design that looks stunning but the main course of interest goes to its foldable uniqueness that will unveil on December 23, 2021.
