Lava, an Indian smartphone brand has launched a new budget-friendly device in the Indian market, called the Lava Z2s which has an octa-core MediaTek Helio chipset. Lava’s new phone comes with a 5,000mAh battery and waterdrop style IPS display. It provides users Android Go Edition Operating System.

The Lava Z2s has a dual-SIM slot that supports 4G networks. As for the display, it offers a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. Under the hood, The smartphone has provided an octa-core MediaTek’s Helio chipset clubbed with 2GB of DDR4x RAM. It has 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 512GB). There is no fingerprint sensor.

In terms of optics, the Lava Z2s brings an 8MP rear sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera module also has a LED flash. The back camera features are Beauty mode, HDR Mode, Night Mode, and Portrait Mode. On the front side, it provides a 5MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calling. The smartphone runs on Android 11 OS operating system out of the box. 

The Lava Z2s is backed by a massive 5,000mAh battery without any fast charging support. The dimensions of Lava Z2s are 164.5 x 75.8 x 9.0mm and weighs around 190 grams. Other notable features on the smartphone are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.

As for the official pricing and availability, Lava Z2s comes with a sole 2GB RAM with 32GB internal storage variant that has been priced at Rs. 7,099. The smartphone is available to purchase from Flipkart, Amazon, Lava e-store, and other retail stores. The company is offering a single color option for Lava Z2s, i.e. Striped Blue.
