ZTE’s sub-brand Nubia has launched a high-end specs smartphone in China, called Red Magic 6S Pro. It is a gaming phone that comes with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 888+ chipset and a 5,050mAh larger battery. The other interesting features are 66W fast charging, a 165Hz AMOLED display, and a 64MP triple-rear camera.

The ZTE Red Magic 6S Pro has provided a 6.8-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, 720Hz touch sampling rate and 20:9 aspect ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The smartphone comes with the ICE 7.0 cooling system. Red Magic has a glossy finish back with a capsule-shaped camera module. If we talk about dimensions, it measures 169.86 x 77.19 x 9.5mm and weighs around 215 grams.

The ZTE Red Magic 6S Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC along with Qualcomm Kyro 680 CPU and Adreno 660 GPU. The handset comes in two memory variants, 12GB RAM with 128GB storage, and 16GB RAM with 256GB storage. The gaming phone has a 5,050mAh battery that supports up to 66W fast charging. The dual-SIM supporting Magic 6S Pro runs on Android-based Red Magic 4.0 out of the box.

On the camera front, the ZTE Red Magic 6S Pro gets a triple-rear camera setup that includes a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. In terms of selfie camera, it provides an 8MP front camera sensor. Connectivity features on the smartphone are 5G, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, NFC, a USB Type-C port and HDMI. There is also a 3.5mm headphone jack. 

The ZTE Red Magic 6S Pro has been priced at $599 (approximately Rs. 43,800)  for the 12GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. The 16GB RAM with 256GB internal storage variant comes at $ 699 (approximately Rs. 51,000). The handset will be available to purchase starting September 27 from the company’s official website.
