The Samsung Galaxy M52 5G has been launched in India. This mid-range smartphone was first introduced in the European market last week. The handset is a cheaper alternative to the Galaxy A52s 5G that was launched in India a few weeks ago. The device has the same 120Hz OLED display, powerful Snapdragon 778G processor, and a 32MP selfie camera as that of the Galaxy A52s 5G, but at a much lower price tag.

The Samsung Galaxy M52 5G sports a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with the Snapdragon 778G processor, 6GB/8GB RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. It has a microSD card slot for storage expansion. On the software front, the device runs on Android 11 out of the box with One UI 3.1.

The Samsung Galaxy M52 5G features a triple-camera setup at the rear, which includes a 64MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP depth sensor. At the front, the smartphone sports a 32MP selfie camera. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 164.2 x 76.4 x 7.4mm and weighs 173 grams. The device is fueled by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging.

The connectivity features of the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G include a dual-SIM card slot, 5G (11 bands), 4G VoLTE, dual-4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. If you’ve noticed, the smartphone lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack. Yes, it is Samsung’s first mid-range smartphone that lacks a headphone jack. To boost security measures, the smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

The Samsung Galaxy M52 5G price in India is ₹29,999 for the variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The top-end variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at ₹31,999. For a limited period, the smartphone will be available at a discounted price of just ₹26,999. The handset comes in two colours: Blazing Black and Icy Blue. The device will go on sale via Amazon and Samsung India website starting from October 3, 2021.
