Tecno Spark 8T smartphone launch date has been confirmed by the company, and the handset will be available for pre-order starting December 15. The device is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 6.6-inch full-HD+ display, and a 5,000mAh battery, according to a new Amazon landing page for the upcoming handset.

The Tecno Spark 8T is rumoured to come with a 6.60-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080x2408 pixels at a pixel density of 401 pixels per inch (ppi). Under the hood, the handset is expected to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor. The device is rumoured to run Android 11 OS operating system.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Tecno Spark 8T is rumoured to pack a dual rear camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.6 aperture, and an AI Lens camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It is rumoured to sport a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, an 8-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

Tecno Spark 8T is based on Android 11 OS, and supports storage expansion via microSD card. The smartphone is tipped to be a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that will accept Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 6.46 x 2.98 x 0.35 inch (164.2 x 75.8 x 8.8 mm). The smartphone is expected to be powered by a 5000mAh battery.

Connectivity options on the Tecno Spark 8T are said to include Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks). Sensors on the smartphone are rumoured to include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The handset is said to launch in Atlantic Blue, Cocoa Gold, Iris Purple, and and Turquoise Cyan colours.
