Gionee has launched their new smartphone, called the Gionee M6S Plus which comes with massive 6GB of RAM and large battery back-up. It is priced tag of 3499 yuan and will be available in two variants. The smartphone also comes with a 6-inch full HD AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 chipset clocked, rear camera setup, and a 6020mAh non-removable battery.
The Gionee M6S Plus comes with plenty of great features such as 6-inch full HD AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass. The display carries a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels so users can enjoy their favorite videos in full-HD resolution with a large display. In spite of large screen, the smartphone is easy to hold in palm due to its perfect dimensions which are 163 × 80.8 × 8.2mm and weight around 212grams. The handset runs on company’s own Amigo OS based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.
As far as cameras are concerned, the Gionee M6S Plus sports a 12-megapixel of rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and phase detection autofocus while the front facing camera is an 8-megapixel for selfies and video calls. Both cameras are capable of HD video recording. The smartphone gets a 6020mAh non-removable battery which supports Quick Charge 3.0 technology. It also houses a fingerprint scanner which is embedded on the home button.
Under the hood, the Gionee M6S Plus is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 chipset clocked at 2GHz octa-core CPU along with Adreno 510 GPU and a massive 6GB of RAM for smooth multitasking. Users get either 64GB or 256GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. For connectivity options, the handset includes 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack.
As for the official pricing, the Gionee M6S Plus is available in two variants, the standard edition comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage carries a price tag of 3499 yuan (approximately Rs 32,800) while the extreme edition has a 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage that has been priced at 4299 yuan (approximately Rs 40,300). The smartphone is available in Ink Black colour variant.
