Lenovo has launched the Lenovo Smart Clock 2 in India. The new smart speaker succeeds the first-generation Smart Clock and it has Google Assistant. The product was released in September 2021 in the global market initially, and it is now available for purchase in India. Other features of the Smart Clock 2 include a wireless charging dock, 1GB of RAM, and a 3W front-firing loudspeaker.
The Lenovo Smart Clock 2 has a 4-inch colour touchscreen display. Under the hood, the smart clock is equipped with a MediaTek MT8167S processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage. As mentioned earlier, the Smart Clock 2 has Google Assistant, which can be used to play music, control smart home devices, set reminders, and much more.
Similar to the other Google Assistant smart devices, you can talk to the Smart clock 2 by just saying “Hey Google” or “OK, Google”. As for the connectivity, the Smart Clock 2 has Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi. Furthermore, the clock also features a 3W front-firing speaker and has a far-field microphone array. It also features a microphone mute toggle switch on the rear and volume control buttons.
The Smart Clock 2 can be connected to the charger with the help of the pogo pin. The charging dock also acts as a wireless charger with 10W maximum charging speed. It even supports 5W and 7.5W charging speeds. In terms of dimensions, the Smart Clock weighs 298g and comes wrapped in soft-touch fabric material. Lenovo claims that the clock is also Magsafe Compatible.
As for pricing and availability, the Lenovo Smart Clock 2 is priced at ₹6,999. However, it is now available via Flipkart for ₹7,999. The smart clock comes in just one colour: Heather Grey. The smart clock will be also available via Lenovo.com and Reliance Digital stores. In the next few weeks, it will be also available from Lenovo’s offline retail channels.
