Micromax In Note 2 is going to be launched on January 25. The company has confirmed the model’s name, design, colour option and launch date via a tweet. The smartphone will be sold on Flipkart, but the company has not shared any information about when it would go on sale. The handsetis expected to be priced around Rs 13,000 as per sources, but we don’t have a confirmation about the same.
Micromax has not shared any information about the specifications of Micromax In Note 2, but it is expected that the upcoming smartphone might have a 6.43 inch AMOLED display. The reason being Micromax responded “Maybe” to a user’s question on Twitter that said, “Can we expect AMOLED display on this smartphone?”
The Twitter post stated that the Micromax IN Note 2 will have a “Dazzling Glass finish”. So we are a bit confused. Will it be a glass panel or plastic panel with glass-like finishing? As far as the colour options are concerned, the smartphone will come with blue and brown options and will sport a quad-camera step in the rear.
As of now, we don’t have more details about the smartphone but expect more information to be revealed closer to launch. It may be recalled that Micromax In Note 1, the predecessor of In Note 2, had a 6.67-inch Full HD+ IPS display. Under the hood, the handset was powered by MediaTek Helio G85 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.
The smartphone had a quad-camera setup at the rear comprising a 48MP primary sensor, a 5MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth shooter. On the front, it had a’s a 16MP camera. In terms of battery, Micromax had packed a 5,000mAh battery and an 18W fast charging solution in Note 1.
