Redmi Smart TV X series announced in India with a 4K resolution display, 2GB RAM, and Android 10 OS. It carries a price tag of Rs 32,999 and could be available on offline retail stores of Xiaomi. The Chinese tech company already revealed the Smart TV X series in China back in May last year. Redmi Smart TV X series features in three models – X65, X55, and X50.

Redmi Smart TV X series comes in three different sizes – X50 – 50 inches, X55 – 55 inches, and X65 – 65 inches. Interestingly, The specification of all the models is identical to each other. The X series features an LCD panel with a 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels). The display has an 85% NTSC color gamut, 92% DCI-P3 color gamut,  Reality Flow (software-based MEMC), HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, and Dolby Vision support.

The Redmi Smart TV houses 2 x 15W speakers which can offer up to an output rate of 30W and supports Dolby Audio, DTS-HD, and DTS Virtual: X. Additional feature on the Android TV includes the support of 25+ popular streaming services, Chromecast Built-in, Google Assistant, Patchwall with Android 10 OS, Mi Home app (to control Xiaomi smart products, and smart remote.

Under the hood, It is powered by a quad-core 64-bit ARM Cortex-A55 based chipset, ARM Mali G52 MP2 GPU, and paired with 2GB RAM + 16GB internal storage. For connectivity, The X series includes the support of dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, 3 x HDMI 2.1 with support for ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) and eARC (only one, Dolby Atmos pass-through), 2 x USB 2.0, AV input, 1 x optical, antenna, 3.5mm headphone jack, and ethernet. 

As for pricing and availability, the Redmi Smart TV X50 carries a price tag of Rs 32,999, The X55 is priced at Rs 38,999 and lastly, The X65 costs Rs 57,999. All the TVs will be available on Mi.com, Amazon India, Mi Home stores, and Mi Studio stores from March 26. It is also believed that The Redmi Smart TV X series could be available on offline retail stores of Xiaomi.
