Tecno Mobile has launched the Tecno Pova Neo smartphone in India. This latest offering from Tecno features a 6.8-inch HD+ display with 480 nits brightness. It is equipped with MediaTek’s octa-core processor. The handset comes with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage. The other key features of the smartphone include a 13MP dual-camera setup, 8MP selfie camera, and a 6,000mAh battery.
The Tecno Pova Neo features a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display that has HD+ resolution. The display panel has a 262 PPI pixel density, 480nits brightness, and 120Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by MediaTek’s octa-core Helio G25 processor. The handset ships with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone also has 5GB of Virtual RAM support for better multitasking. On the software front, the device boots Android 11 out of the box with HiOS 7.6 on top.
The custom HiOS 7.6 UI offer features such as Vault 2.0, Smart Panel 2.0, Kids Mode, Social Turbo, Anti-theft alarm, Voice Changer, App Twin, Peek Proof, Ultra Battery Saver, Photo Compressor, Video Assistant, Game Space, and many more. When it comes to optics, the smartphone features a dual-camera setup, which includes a 13MP main camera and an AI lens. The selfie department of the device is handled by an 8MP camera.
The Tecno Pova Neo packs a 6000mAh battery that offers 55 days standby time, 190 hours of music playback, and 43 hours of calling time. The handset is equipped with an 18W flash charger in the box which can charge the device to 50 percent in less than an hour. The smartphone also has an IPX2 rating to prevent water damage. The device features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and has face unlock support. It also comes with DTS audio support.
As for pricing and availability, the Tecno Pova Neo is priced at ₹12,999. The smartphone comes in Powehi Black, Geek Blue, and Obsidian Black colour options. The smartphone will be available in retail stores starting from January 22 this year. The handset was originally launched in Nigeria last month. It debuted at NGN 75,100 (roughly Rs. 13,600) for the single 4GB + 64GB configuration.
