Vivo Y21A smartphone has been announced in India as a successor to the company’s Vivo Y20A that was launched in December 2020. The handset is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage. The handset sports a 13-megapixel dual camera setup and runs on a 5,000mAh battery.

The Vivo Y21A comes with a 6.51-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720x1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage. In terms of OS software, the handset runs on Android 11 OS out of the box.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Vivo Y21A on the rear packs a 13-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It sports an 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls with an f/2.0 aperture. The handset is powered by a 5000mAh battery.

The Vivo Y21A runs FunTouch OS 11.1 is based on Android 11 and packs 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card with a dedicated slot. The smartphone is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. The handset measures 164.26 x 76.08 x 8.00mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 182.00 grams.

Connectivity options on the Vivo Y21A include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, Micro-USB, and FM radio. Sensors on the smartphone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The handset was launched in Midnight Blue and Diamond Glow colours.
