Xiaomi finally revealed Mi 10i 5G in India and it is the first smartphone to prove an impressive 108-megapixel sensor in this price segment. Although, it was already revealed in China as Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G with a much lesser price compared to India. The handset also has an astonishing 120Hz fast refresh rate display, a 5G octa-core Qualcomm chipset, and a 4850mah big battery.
Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G comes with a 6.67 inches punch-hole display with full-HD+ (2400×1080 pixels) resolution, 120Hz refresh rate along with 240Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 750G octa-core 5G chipset coupled with Adreno 619 GPU. On the software front, the device is running on Android 10 OS out of the box with MIUI 12 on top.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G boasts a quad rear camera that includes a 108-megapixel Samsung HMX sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera under the punch-hole at the top center. The handset is packed with a 4820mah battery and supports 33W fast charging.
For connectivity options, the Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G includes dual 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors onboard, accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, proximity, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The smartphone comes in three color options namely Pacific Sunrise, Midnight Black, and Atlantic Blue.
For pricing and availability, Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G comes in three configurations 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB. The base variant is priced at Rs. 20,999, while the 6GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs. 21,999, and the top version is priced at Rs. 23,999. The 6GB + 64GB is listed as coming soon while the other two options can be purchased via sale on 7th January at 12:00 pm noon on Amazon.
