Consumer electronics company, Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Redmi Note 11 Pro series in India. In the latest development, key specifications of the India-specific Note 11 Pro+ have surfaced online courtesy of tipster Yogesh Brar. The smartphone was first launched in China alongside other Note 11 handsets last October 2021. It is expected to make its debut in India in March 2022.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro series made its global debut in January 2022. The global models were different from their Chinese counterparts. Similarly, the India-specific Note 11 Pro+ is expected to be different from its Chinese cousin. Instead, the smartphone is expected to be a rebranded version of the global variant of the high-end Note 11 Pro 5G.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ bears a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 20:9, a 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. The smartphone features a punch-hole cut-out on the top-center, a noticeable bottom bezel, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it sports a vertical camera unit.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ flaunts a triple rear camera arrangement, including a 108MP main shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. Up front, it sports a 16MP selfie snapper. The smartphone will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast-charging support.
Under the hood, India-specific Redmi Note 11 Pro+ will be powered by a Snapdragon 695 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. On the front software, it will boot Android 11-based MIUI 13 out of the box. For connectivity options, the smartphone supports Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, 5G, and a Type-C port.
The official pricing and availability details of the India-specific Redmi Note 11 Pro+ will be announced by the Chinese tech company at the time of its launch in the coming days. However, going by the specifications, we expect it to start at around Rs. 20,000. The smartphone comes in Blue, White, and Black colour options.
