Chinese tech giant, OPPO has launched a new 4G budget-range smartphone, called the A76, in Malaysia. It is priced at MYR 899 (roughly Rs. 16,000) and is available for purchase in the country via the company's official site. The device features a 90Hz LCD display, a Snapdragon 680 chip, a 13MP main camera, and a 5,000mAh battery. The company is yet to announce its availability in other markets.

The A76 is the latest addition to OPPO's portfolio of budget-range smartphones and succeeds the A74 model which was launched last April 2021. The tech giant has packed the phone with new-age features such as a high refresh rate screen, 5GB of virtual RAM and a 33W fast-charging technology. It also gets the 'OPPO Glow Design' that has a shimmering effect on the back panel.

The OPPO A76 bears a 6.56-inch HD+ (720x1612 pixels) IPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 600-nits of peak brightness. The smartphone features a left-aligned punch-hole cut-out, a prominent bottom bezel, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it sports a rectangular camera unit.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the OPPO A76 is equipped with a dual rear camera arrangement, comprising a 13MP (f/2.2) primary snapper and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. Up front, it sports an 8MP (f/2.0) selfie shooter. The smartphone houses a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.

Under the hood, the OPPO A76 draws juice from a Snapdragon 680 SoC, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. At the heart, it boots Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1 out of the box. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone offers support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G, GPS, and a Type-C port.

For official pricing and availability, the OPPO A76 carries a price-tag of MYR 899 (around Rs. 16,000) for the sole 6GB/128GB variant. The smartphone is offered in Glowing Black and Glowing Blue color options. The handset is up for grabs in Malaysia via the company's official website.
