POCO has launched its much-anticipated M4 Pro 5G device in India. It made its global debut last November 2021. The handset starts at Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB/64GB variant and will be available for purchase from February 22 through Flipkart. As for the key highlights, it features a 50MP main camera, a 90Hz LCD display, a MediaTek Dimensity 810 chip, and a 5,000mAh battery.
The M4 Pro 5G is the latest addition to POCO's portfolio of budget-range smartphones in India. Feature-packed cost-effective smartphones have always caught the imagination of the Indian market, and POCO aims to tap into that sentiment with its new offering. Although it has similar specifications to the Redmi Note 11T 5G, the M4 Pro 5G is cheaper than its cousin, making it more attractive.
The POCO M4 Pro 5G bears a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2460 pixels) IPS LCD display with a 90Hz Dynamic Switch refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone sports a punch-hole design, a prominent bottom bezel, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. On the rear, it has a full-width horizontal camera unit.
Under the hood, the POCO M4 Pro 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. On the front software, it boots Android 11 OS out of the box with MIUI 12.5 skin baked on top. For connectivity options, the device offers support for Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi, 5G, GPS, and a Type-C port.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the POCO M4 Pro 5G sports a dual rear camera module comprising a 50MP (f/1.8) main sensor and an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens. On the front, it has a 16MP (f/2.45) selfie shooter. The handset is packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.
For pricing and availability, the POCO M4 Pro 5G starts at Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB/64GB variant and goes up to Rs. 18,999 for the 8GB/128GB model. The smartphone is offered in Power Black, Cool Blue, and POCO Yellow color options. It will be up for grabs from February 22 via e-commerce platform website Flipkart.
