Chinese tech company, Vivo is gearing up to launch its new V-series smartphone, called the V23e 5G, in India on February 21. In the latest development, the price of the device has been leaked courtesy of 91mobiles. It is tipped to carry a price-tag of Rs. 25,990 for the 8GB/128GB variant. To recall, the device had made its debut in Thailand last November 2021.

The Vivo V23e 5G will join the vanilla V23 and V23 Pro models that were introduced in India earlier this year 2022. It will be positioned as the entry-level model in the V23 series to take on rivals from brands such as Samsung, Xiaomi, and Motorola. The smartphone will attract customers with features like an AMOLED screen, 44MP selfie snapper, and a 44W fast-charging support.

The Vivo V23e 5G offers a 6.44-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a 60Hz refresh rate. The smartphone features a waterdrop notch with a noticeable bottom bezel and an in-display fingerprint reader. On the rear, it sports a rectangular camera unit.

Under the hood, the Vivo V23e 5G is fueled by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the software front, it runs Android 11-based Funtouch OS 12 out of the box. For connectivity options, the smartphone offers support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, 5G, and a Type-C port.

In terms of optics, the Vivo V23e 5G is equipped with a triple rear camera arrangement, comprising a 50MP main shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, it sports a 44MP snapper for selfies and video calls. The smartphone houses a 4,050mAh battery with 44W fast-charging support.

For pricing and availability, the Vivo V23e 5G will be up for grabs in India at Rs. 25,990 for the sole 8GB/128GB model, according to 91mobiles. The availability details of the handset will be announced at the time of its launch on February 21. It will be available in Midnight Blue and Sunshine Gold color options in India.
