Realme has launched its news C35 budget smartphone in India. To recall, it went official in Thailand last month. The handset will be up for grabs in the country from March 12 onward. As for the highlights, the device has a Full-HD+ LCD display, an octa-core UNISOC T616 chipset, a triple rear camera setup, and a massive 5,000mAh battery.
Chinese tech giant, Realme has the second-largest share in India's smartphone market and its growth has been driven by feature-packed cost-effective devices such as the C35. The device arrives here as a successor to the C25, which was introduced in India last year 2021. It takes on rivals such as the Samsung Galaxy M12, Redmi 10 Prime, as well as the Motorola Moto E40.
The Realme C35 packs a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2408 pixels) IPS LCD display with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.7%. The smartphone has a waterdrop-notched design with a noticeable bottom bezel and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. On the rear, there is a triple camera setup housed within a squarish unit.
Under the hood, the Realme C35 draws power from an octa-core UNISOC T616 processor, linked with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The handset packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. To ensure connectivity, the smartphone offers support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Realme C35 flaunts a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, a 2MP macro shooter (f/2.4), and a monochrome lens. On the front, it sports an 8MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper. On the front software, The device boots Android 11-based Realme UI R Edition out of the box.
For official pricing and availability, the Realme C35 starts at Rs. 11,999 for the base 4GB/64GB model and goes up to Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB/128GB variant. It is available in Glowing Black and Glowing Green colors. The smartphone was launched in India on Monday and will go on sale here at 12 pm on March 12.
