Vivo's sub-brand, iQOO has launched a new Neo-series handset in China, called the iQOO Neo6. The smartphone has a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and comes powered by the latest flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The device has currently been launched only in China, but might soon be unveiled in the remaining parts of the world.
The iQOO Neo6 comes with a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ certification, 105% NTSC color gamut, and up to 1,300 nits brightness. Powering the smartphone is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, which is paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage.
Coming to the camera department, the iQOO Neo6 features a 64MP main camera with Samsung GW1P sensor, OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP B&W portrait camera, and a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Additionally, the smartphone has an under-display fingerprint scanner.
In terms of software, the iQOO Neo6 runs on the latest Android 12 out of the box with OriginOS Ocean skin on top of it. Moving on to the battery specifications, the smartphone has a 4,700mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 163×76.16×8.5mm and weighs 197g.
For pricing and availability, the iQOO Neo6 has been priced at CNY 2,799 (around ₹33,490) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, CNY 2,999 (around ₹35,865) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, and CNY 3,299 (around ₹39,450) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The smartphone will go on first sale in China on April 20, 2022.
