Actor Kim Min Kyu is considering the first lead role on a terrestrial television channel through the drama "Perfume". According to news gathered by OSEN on April 3, Kim Min Kyu received a proposal to join the new Mon-Tue drama titled "Perfume" (KBS 2TV/ Scriptwriter: Choi Hyun Wook/ Director: Kim Sang Hwi) and is actively considering. 

If his participation is confirmed, Kim Min Kyu will get his first lead role on the terrestrial television station with this drama "Perfume". Kim Min Kyu debuted to the public through an advertisement in 2013. After that, he showed an actor's aptitude when playing a supporting role in the TV drama "Signal" (tvN) and the movie "Chasing" in 2016.

In particular, in 2017, Kim Min Kyu drew attention when appearing in Mnet's show "I Can See Your Voice (season 4)" as a capable singer. Following the entertainment show "Love Me Actually" (MBC) that he is participating in, Kim Min Kyu also expressed his determination to demonstrate his presence as an actor through the drama "Perfume".

"Perfume" is a fictitious romantic comedy, it is about a middle-aged woman who suddenly becomes a model after sinking into desperation because she was robbed of the home that she had spent her entire life cultivating. She starts the second love story of her life with a troublesome boy, who doesn't have the courage to fall in love. 

Earlier, Eric (Shinhwa) and Go Joon Hee also discussed participating in the drama but it didn't work out. After that, Shin Sung Rok confirmed that he will play the lead male role in the film, and the lead female role will be played by actress Go Won Hee. "Perfume" is scheduled to air its first episode in mid-June after the drama "My Fellow Citizens" ends.
