Gionee Max Pro smartphone was announced in India as the entry-level device from the Chinese Tech Company. As for the key highlights, the new handset comes with a large battery, Unisoc octa-core chipset, waterdrop notch display, dual rear camera, 3.5mm headphone jack, Gradiant finish, and more.
Gionee Max Pro bears a 6.52 inches LCD display with an HD+ ( 1560 × 720 pixels ) resolution, 2.5D curved glass, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with a Unisoc SC9863A octa-core chipset that comes coupled with PowerVR IMG8322 GPU. It is accompanied by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot.
As for the camera department, the Gionee Max Pro sports a dual rear camera that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The rear camera features slow-motion, time-lapse, HDR & Bokeh modes, AI recognition, and Face beauty. For selfies, the device sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera under the waterdrop notch. The device is packed with a 6000mah battery and supports 10W charging.
For connectivity options, the Gionee Max Pro includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, a micro-USB charging port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 165 x 75 x 10mm. Additionally, the handset comes with a Google Assistant button, Android 10 operating system, and face unlock.
As for the official pricing and availability, Gionee Max Pro is priced at Rs. 6,999 for the solo configuration of 3GB + 32GB. The company offered the smartphone in three color options namely blue, black, and red. The handset will go for sale on March 8 at 12 PM via e-commerce platform website store Flipkart.
