The Infinix Hot 12 Play has been launched in India on May 23 (Monday). The handset is priced under Rs 10,000 and it will be available for purchase via Flipkart. The Hot 12 Play device was launched in Thailand a couple of weeks back and now, the same has been launched in India as the successor to the Infinix Hot 11 Play.

The Infinix Hot 12 Play comes with a 90Hz refresh rate screen, triple rear camera setup and large 6,000mAh battery. This is also one of the few smartphones to come with a high refresh rate screen under Rs 10,000.  Let’s take a look at the smartphone’s price, specification, and features in detail.

The Infinix Hot 12 Play comes with a 6.82-inch HD+ (720 x 1612 pixels) TFT display with a 90Hz screen refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 480 nits peak brightness. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core UniSoC T610 processor coupled with Mali G52 GPU. There is 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The handset also comes with support for up to 3GB of Virtual RAM.

In terms of optics, the Infinix Hot 12 Play comes with a triple rear camera setup led by a 13MP main sensor, a 2MP secondary depth lens and an AI lens. There is an 8MP selfie snapper, located inside the punch-hole cutout on the front. Further, the smartphone houses a large 6,000mAh battery unit with support for 18W Type-C fast charging. 

On the software front, the Infinix Hot 12 Play smartphone runs on XOS 10 based on Android 11 out of the box. Other features include a dual nano-SIM slot, a dedicated microSD card slot, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, DTS surround sound, 194.9-gram weight, and 8.32mm thickness.

For official pricing and availability, the Infinix Hot 12 Play is priced at Rs 8,499 for thr 4GB+64GB variant. It will go on sale from May 23 on e-commerce platform website store Flipkart. The smartphone will be available in Daylight Green, Horizon Blue, and Racing Black colour options.
