OnePlus Ace Racing Edition smartphone was announced in China as the toned-down version of the OnePlus Ace that went official last month in the Home Town. As for the key highlights, the handset comes with a fast refresh rate LCD display, one of the MediaTek’s flagship chipsets, a triple rear camera, a Big battery, fast charging, and more.
OnePlus Ace Racing Edition features a 6.7 inches LCD display with a 120Hz fast refresh rate with a six-level variable refresh rate of 30/48/50/60/90/120Hz, Full-HD+ ( 1080 x 2412 pixels ) resolution, 90.8 percent screen to body ratio, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 100 percent DCI P3 color gamut, 401 PPI, 16.7 million colors, and 600nits peak brightness. The handset comes running on Android 12 out of the box with Color OS 12 skin on top.
In terms of camera, the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition boasts a triple rear camera that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with a 112-degree Field of View and f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the phone sports a 16-megapixel selfie sensor with an f/2.05 aperture.
Under the hood, the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition smartphone is powered with a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX coupled with ARM Odin MC6 GPU. It is paired with 8GB/12GB of LPDDR5 skin and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The smartphone is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 67W fast charging. In terms of Dimensions, the handset measures 164.3mm x 75.8mm x 8.7mm and weighs 205 grams.
For connectivity options, the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Additionally, the smartphone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, X-axis linear vibration motor, special O-Haptic game Vibration effects, and a liquid-cooled Vapor Chamber.
OnePlus Ace racing Edition comes in three configurations: 8GB + 128GB priced at 1999 yuan ( Rs. 23,250 approx ), 8GB + 256GB priced at 2199 yuan ( Rs. 25,600 approx ) and 12GB + 256GB priced at 2499 yuan ( Rs. 29,100 approx ). The smartphone will come in two color options namely athletics Grey and Lightspeed Blue. The smartphone will go for sale from May 31 in China.
