Tecno Pova 3 was launched on May 25 (Wednesday) as the latest handset in the company’s affordable smartphone portfolio. The device is equipped with a 6.9-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and comes with a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC, paired with up to 6GB of RAM. 

The Tecno Pova 3 comes with a 90 Hz refresh rate 6.90-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1080x2460 pixels (FHD+). It sports a centrally-aligned punch-hole cut-out with noticeable bezels and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The rear section is fitted with a vertically-housed triple camera setup. The handset draws power from a 7,000mAh battery with 25W charging.

In terms of photography, TECNO POVA 3 is equipped with a triple rear camera arrangement, including a 50MP (f/1.79) main lens and 2MP depth as well as macro sensors. On the front, the handset has an 8MP (f/2.0) selfie shooter. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 processor. It comes with 4GB of RAM. 

On the software front, the Tecno Pova 3 runs HiOS is based on Android 11 out of the box and packs 64GB of inbuilt storage. The smartphone is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 173.10 x 78.46 x 9.44mm (height x width x thickness). 

For connectivity options on the Tecno Pova 3 include Wi-Fi, GPS, USB OTG, USB Type-C, FM radio, 3G, and 4G. Sensors on the smartphone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. It was launched in Eco Black, Electric Blue, and Tech Silver colours.
