Tecno Pova 3 was announced in the Philippines as the new budget smartphone. It carries a price tag of PHP 8,999 and comes in three color options. As for the key highlights, the device comes with a large battery, fast refresh rate LCD display, triple rear camera, MediaTek’s octa-core chipset, fast charging, stereo speakers, and more.
Tecno Pova 3 features a 6.9 inches LCD panel with a 90Hz fast refresh rate, centered punch-hole, and Full-HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with Arm Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. It is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The handset is running on Android 11 out of the box with HiOS skin on top.
The Tecno Pova 3 boasts a triple camera at the back including a 50-megapixel main sensor, and two 2-megapixel sensors might be a macro or depth lens. The phone sports an 8-megapixel selfie camera under the punch-hole at the top center. The smartphone is packed with a whopping 7000mah battery and supports 25W fast charging while the company has bundled a 33W fast charger and it also supports reverse charging.
In terms of dimensions, the Tecno Pova 3 measures 173.1 x 78.46 x 9.44mm. Additionally, the smartphone comes with graphite cooling technology for a seamless gaming experience, memory fusion technology or virtual RAM support, a z-axis linear motor, a panther gaming engine, dual stereo speakers with DTS stereo sound, and stunning power light.
For official pricing and availability, the Tecno Pova 3 comes in two configurations: 4GB + 64GB priced at PHP 8,999 and 6GB + 128GB priced at PHP 9,399. The company offered the phone in three color options namely Electric Blue, Tech Silver, and Eco Black. The phone is unveiled in the Philippines for now but it is expected to launch in India very soon.
