The Chinese smartphone manufacturer company Tecno Mobile announced its latest entry-level device in the Philippines, called Tenco Pova 3. The handset comes with a 6.9-inch full-HD+ 90Hz display, an octa-core Mediatek Helio G88 chipset, and a gigantic 7,000mAh battery with 25W charging support. The phone also provides a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.

The Tecno Pova 3 has a 6.9-inch full-HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels. The display offers a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone has provided a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC paired with up to 6GB of RAM. It also has a memory fusion feature to expand RAM up to 11GB using inbuilt storage. The dual-SIM supporting smartphone runs on Android 11-based HiOS out of the box.

In terms of optics, the Tecno Pova 3 comes with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP primary sensor and two 2MP auxiliary sensors. Talking about front camera, the handset features an 8MP camera with dual flash for selfies and video calling. The handset is offering up to 128GB of internal storage, though users can expand its storage capacity via a microSD card. The device has 4G connectivity.

The Tecno Pova 3 packs a 7,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support and 10W reverse charging. The smartphone comes with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port connectivity features. The device also includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Other notable sensors are an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, and proximity sensor. Talking about dimensions, it measures 173.1 x 78.46 x 9.44mm. 

For pricing and availability, Tecno Pova 3 has been priced in the Philippines at PHP 8,999 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant carries a price tag of PHP 9,399. It will go on starting May 31. The smartphone comes in three color options, i.e. Electric Blue, Eco Black, and Tech Silver. There’s no information on when the device will be available to the other markets including India.
