Vivo Y55 4G has been released in Vietnam on 4th May 2022. The Y55 might arrive later this year in India and other markets. Vivo has not confirmed any details regarding the same. The handset offers a 6.44-inch touchscreen display and a 180Hz touch sampling rate, It is powered by a Snapdragon 680 SoC and packs a 5,000mAh battery.
The Vivo Y55 4G bears a 6.44-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1,080x2,400 pixels (FHD+) at a pixel density of 408 pixels per inch (ppi).Vivo Y55 4G comes with 8GB of RAM. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 680 SoC. It is powered by a 5,000mAh non-removable battery. The device supports Quick Charge fast charging.
As for the camera department, the Vivo Y55 4G on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) primary camera; a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) camera, and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) camera. It sports a 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls with an f/f/2.0 aperture.
In terms of software, the Vivo Y55 4G runs Funtouch OS 12 is based on Android 12 out of the box and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage. The smartphone is a dual-SIM mobile. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 160.80 x 73.79 x 8.42mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 182.00 grams.
For connectivity options on the Vivo Y55 4G include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, and USB Type-C. Sensors on the smartphone include proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, compass/ magnetometer, and fingerprint sensor. The handset was launched in Black Star and Snow White colours.
