Xiaomi had launched its latest tablet, called the Xiaomi Pad 5 in India last month. The new tablet from Xiaomi comes with an 11-inch LCD display that has a screen resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels and 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 processor. The System On Chip includes 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The tablet is 6.85mm thick and runs Android 11 OS out of the box.
The Xiaomi Pad 5 price in India starts at ₹26,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. On the other hand, the 6GB + 256GB version costs ₹28,999. The tablet will be available at an introductory price of ₹24,999 and ₹26,999 till May 7. The Xiaomi Pad 5 first sale in India commences today via Mi.com, Amazon and Mi stores.
The Xiaomi Pad 5 features an 11-inch LCD display that has WQXGA 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution. The display panel offers up to 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, HDR 10 support, and Dolby Vision. Powering the tablet is an octa-core Snapdragon 860 processor which is paired with Adreno 640 GPU. As mentioned above, the top-end variant of the tablet ships with 6GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
As for the software, the Xiaomi Pad 5 runs on Android 11 OS out of the box. Additionally, the Pad 5 has a 13MP rear camera that supports 4K video recordings. The selfie department is handled by an 8MP camera that has 1080p video recording support. An 8,720mAh battery fuels the Xiaomi Pad 5 that supports 22.5W fast charging.
The Xiaomi Pad also supports a keyboard dock and a Smart Pen. As far the rest of the features are concerned, the device has a quad-speaker setup along with support for Dolby Atmos as well as Hi-Res audio certification, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS and USB Type-C port. The tablet will be available for sale in Cosmic Gray and Pearl White colour options.
The Xiaomi Pad 5 can be purchased starting from today via Amazon, Mi.com and Mi stores across the country.
