Honor 70 was announced in China as the successor to the Honor 60 which was unveiled last year 2021. The Chinese tech company has made significant upgrades over its predecessor. As for the key highlights, it comes with a fast refresh rate OLED display, a Qualcomm’s 700 series chipset, 54MP triple rear camera, big battery, fast charging, and more.
Honor 70 flaunts a 6.67 inches curved OLED display with a 120Hz fast refresh rate, Full-HD+ resolution, 10-bit color depth, and almost bezel-less design. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with a Snapdragon 778G+ octa-core chipset coupled with an Adreno 642L GPU. It is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. It comes running on Android 12 out of the box with Magic UI 6.1 skin on top.
The Honor 70 sports a 32-megapixel selfie camera under the punch-hole at the top center. The camera module consists of two rings, one ring boasts two camera sensors including a 2-megapixel portrait lens, and a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens while the other ring features a 54-megapixel Sony 800 sensor along with an LED flash. The handset is packed with a 4800mah battery and supports 66W fast charging.
For connectivity options, the Honor 70 includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone has measurements of 161.4 x 73.3 x 7.91 mm and weighs around 178 grams. Sensors onboard, the handset sports a gravity sensor, gyro, compass, ambient light, proximity light, and an under-display fingerprint sensor.
For official pricing and availability, the Honor 70 comes in three configurations: 8GB + 256GB priced at 2699 yuan, 12GB + 256GB priced at 2999 yuan and 12GB + 256GB priced at 3399 yuan. The handset comes in four color options namely Streamer Crystal, Bright Black, Mo Yuqing, and Iceland Fantasy. It can be purchased from Honor’s online store in China.
