Huawei Nova Y90 was launched on June 23. As per the company's global website, the smartphone comes with a 6.7-inch Edgeless FullView display that has a centrally-aligned hole-punch cutout for the front camera and packs an octa-core Snapdragon 680 SoC. Huawei has included a 5,000mAh battery with support of 40W Huawei SuperCharge technology.

The Huawei Nova Y90 comes with a 90 Hz refresh rate 6.70-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1080x2388 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone packs an octa-core Snapdragon 680 SoC. It comes with 8GB of RAM. The handset is powered by a 5000mAh non-removable battery. The device supports proprietary fast charging.

The Huawei Nova Y90 on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) primary camera; a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) camera, and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, featuring an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. The front camera also features autofocus.

On the software front, the Huawei Nova Y90 runs EMUI 12 is based on Android 12 out of the box and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage. The smartphone is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 163.30 x 74.70 x 8.40mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 195.00 grams. 

For connectivity options on the Huawei Nova Y90 include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, and USB Type-C. Sensors on the smartphone include ambient light sensor, gyroscope, compass/ magnetometer, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. It was launched in Emerald Green, Crystal Blue, Midnight Black, and Pearl White colours.
