Oppo has launched its much-awaited smartphone in Spain, called the Oppo Reno 8 Lite 5G. Though, it is a tweaked version of the Oppo F21 5G Pro. The handset comes with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display, an octa-core Snapdragon 695 SoC, and a 4,500mAh battery. The device also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and has an IPX4-rated certification for splash and dust resistance.

The Oppo Reno 8 Lite 5G has arrived with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate and 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The smartphone has a dual-SIM slot and comes with 5G connectivity. Under the hood, the handset is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC clubbed with Adreno 619 GPU. It is paired with an 8GB of RAM, it can also be expanded up to 13GB using additional internal storage.

In terms of optics, the Oppo Reno 8 Lite 5G sports a triple camera unit on the rear, including a 64MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. The rear penal also has a LED flash. For selfies and video calling, it has provided a 16MP front camera. The device offers 128GB of onboard storage that is further expandable via a microSD card (up to 1TB). For Operating System, it runs on Android 11-based ColorOS 12.1 out of the box. 

The Oppo Reno 8 Lite 5G has an IPX4 certification for splash and dust resistance. As for the battery, the phone is backed by a 4,500mAh battery that charges through a 33W SuperVOOC charger. It brings a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature as well. The device measures 159.8 x 73.2 x 7.5mm and weighs 173 grams. Furthermore, it includes 5G, 4G, GPS, GLONASS, and a USB Type-C port. Thankfully, it also has a 3.5mm headphone jack.

For official pricing and availability, the Oppo Reno 8 Lite 5G has been priced in Spain at EUR 429 (approximately Rs. 35,700) for a single 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage model. The smartphone is available in two color options, i.e. Black and Rainbow. There’s no information on when the phone will be available to the other markets including India.
