Poco F4 5G was launched on Thursday in the Indian market as a mid-range smartphone. The device starts at Rs. 27,999 that main key attraction features are a 120Hz AMOLED display, a 64MP triple rear camera setup, and an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset. The new handset comes with a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging. It also supports Dolby Atmos sound and Dobly Atmos Vision technologies.
The Poco F4 5G has offered a 6.67-inch full-HD+ E4 AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display features a 120Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. Moreover, the display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. On the SoC front, there’s an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC along with Adreno 650 GPU. The handset is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Poco has provided a 4,500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.
In terms of optics, the Poco F4 5G features a triple camera setup on the rear that houses a 64MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens and Optical Image Stabilization, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP macro shooter. For the front penal, it gets a 20MP selfie camera with an f/2.4 lens. For Operating System, it runs on Android 12 OS out of the box with MIUI 13 on the top. It provides up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Unfortunately, there’s no memory expansion feature.
The Poco F4 5G brings stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio. In terms of connectivity, it includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The handset gets a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. Other sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. Furthermore, the device measures 163.2 x 75.95 x 7.7mm and weighs 195 grams.
For official pricing and availability, the Poco F4 5G has been priced in India at Rs. 27,999 for the base 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant. The Poco F4 5G also has an 8GB RAM with 128GB storage model that carries a price tag of Rs. 29,999. The high-end model (12GB RAM with 256GB storage) comes at Rs. 33,999. The handset is available in two color options, i.e. Nebula Green, and Night Black. Talking about availability, the device will go on sale from June 27 via Flipkart.
