South Korean Boy Band Group SF9 will make a comeback with a 6-member group in early July. On the 4th, FNC Entertainment announced through Top Star News, "It is true that SF9 will make a comeback with a six-member group in early July." This is a comeback after about 7 months since 'RUMINATION' in November of last year.
Earlier on this day, Sports World reported that SF9 would make a comeback with a new album in early July. According to reports, this album is said to be making a comeback with a concept that suits the summer mood. In the meantime, SF9 is known to have made a comeback in the summer, such as 'TURN OVER' and '9lory' in 2020.
However, this comeback will consist of only 6 members, Dawon, Jaeyoon, Zuho, Hwiyoung, Yoo Taeyang, and Chanhee, excluding Inseong, Youngbin, and Rowoon. Currently, members Inseong and Youngbin are fulfilling their military duty in the military band and the army, respectively.
As a result, only Jaeyoon, Dawon, Zuho, Taeyang, Hwiyoung, and Chani will be participating in their comeback next month. SF9’s last comeback was approximately seven months ago, when they released their 10th mini album “RUMINATION” and its title track “Trauma” in November 2021.
In the case of member Rowoon, it was reported that he could not participate in this album as the preparation period for the new album and the filming period for the drama overlapped. Meanwhile, SF9, who debuted in 2016 with the single album 'Feeling Sensation', celebrated their 7th year since their debut this year.
