Tecno Pova 3 was announced in India as the new budget 4G smartphone from the Chinese Tech Company. Although, the handset was unveiled in the Philippines back in May this year 2022. It arrives as the successor to the Pova 2 which went official last year and the company has done significant changes to the new device.
Tecno Pova 3 flaunts a 6.9 inches IPS LCD display with a punch-hole at the top center, a 90Hz fast refresh rate, a Full-HD+ ( 1080 x 2460 pixels ) resolution, and a 20.5:9 aspect ratio. The device is backed by a 7000mah battery and supports 25W fast charging but the company has bundled a 33W fast charger in the box. The phone has dimensions of 173.1 x 78.46 x 9.44mm.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Tecno Pova 3 features a triple camera at the back including a 50-megapixel main sensor, and two 2-megapixel sensors might be a depth sensor and a macro lens. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone boasts an 8-megapixel camera along with a dual-LED flash at the front.
Under the hood, the smartphone is fueled by MediaTek Helio G88 that comes coupled with Arm Mali G52 MP2 GPU. It is accompanied by 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM with up to 5GB of virtual RAM and 128GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot for additional storage. The device is running on Android 12 out of the box with HiOS skin on top.
For Connectivity options, the Tecno Pova 3 features Bluetooth 5.0, FM Radio, GPS, and micro USB 2.0, USB On-The-Go. The dimension of the device is 173.1 x 78.5 x 9.4 mm. Additionally, the smartphone sports a z-axis linear motor, dual stereo speakers with DTS surround sound, a panther gaming engine, and a notification LED or battery indicator strip at the back ( only for the Electric Blue variant ).
For official pricing and availability, the Tecno Pova 3 comes with a price of Rs. 11,499 for the sole configuration of 6GB + 12GB. The company offered the phone in three color options namely Electric Blue, Tech Silver, and Eco Black. It will go for sale on June 27 via e-commerce platform Amazon India online store.
