Nubia Red Magic 7S gaming smartphone has launched in China at a starting price of CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 47,400). It comes in multiple configurations along with a special edition. The handset offers a 165 Hz refresh rate 6.80-inch touchscreen display, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, and a 4,500mAh non-removable battery. It will go on sale in China from July 15.
The Nubia Red Magic 7S bears a 165 Hz refresh rate 6.80-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM. The handset is powered by a 4,500mAh non-removable battery. The device supports proprietary fast charging.
In terms of optics, the Nubia Red Magic 7S on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel primary camera; an 8-megapixel camera, and a 2-megapixel camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, featuring an 8-megapixel sensor. The front camera also features autofocus.
On the software front, the Nubia Red Magic 7S runs Red Magic OS 5.5 is based on Android 12 and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage. The smartphone is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 170.57 x 78.33 x 9.50mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 215.00 grams.
For connectivity options on the Red Magic 7S include Wi-Fi 802.11 ax, GPS, Bluetooth v5.20, USB Type-C, 3G, 4G , and 5G. Sensors on the smartphone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope, and compass/ magnetometer. It was launched in Silver and Black colours. It bears a metal body.
