Tecno Spark 8P smartphone has been launched in India on July 7 (Thursday). Though it was initially unveiled in October 2021. As for the key highlights, the handset features are an octa-core MediaTek Helio G70 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM, a 50MP triple rear camera setup, and a large 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
The Tecno Spark 8P sports a 6.6-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels and a dewdrop notch. The display has 401ppi of pixel density. Under the hood, the handset is equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Helio G70 SoC along with Mali G52 MC2 GPU. It is paired with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM which can be extended up to 7GB with Memory Fusion technology.
In terms of optics, the Tecno Spark 8P features a triple camera setup at the back that houses a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.6 aperture and Phase-Detection autofocus, a 2MP depth sensor, and an AI lens. On the front, there’s an 8MP selfie camera with a dual-LED flash. On the software front, it boots Android 11-based HiOS 7.6. For storage, the smartphone brings 64GB of internal storage.
Tecno Spark 8P is powered by a larger 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. Other notable connectivity options are Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS, MicroUSB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The dual-SIM supporting smartphone has 4G connectivity. It also has an IPX-2-rated certification for splash-resistant.
For official pricing and availability, the Tecno Spark 8P smartphone has been priced in India at Rs. 10,999 for the single 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage model. It comes in four color options, i.e. Atlantic Blue, Iris Purple, Tahiti Gold, and Turquoise Cyan. The device can be purchased from retail stores across the country.
