BLACKPINK collaborated with PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile. After holding a virtual concert in the game, they released the MV for the song Ready For Love. Ready For Love is a song that was introduced for the first time through a concert in the PUBG game entitled The Virtual.
This collaboration seems to be the opening for BLACKPINK's comeback which will be held in August 2022. In the Ready For Love MV, the four BLACKPINK members turned into 3D versions. They invite the audience to enter the world of PUBG. The music video also reveals footage of the concert held in the PUBG game.
The four virtual versions of BLACKPINK members were seen dancing and singing on a majestic, sparkly stage. Meanwhile, BLACKPINK was said to have been filming a video clip for their latest album some time ago. According to YG Entertainment, they issued a large budget for the comeback MV.
"We used the largest budget ever spent in the production of a video clip," said YG Entertainment. "All the processes went very smoothly according to the plan we had previously made," he continued. Management did not reveal the exact amount of the budget issued. However, the news is increasingly making fans impatient to welcome BLACKPINK's long-awaited comeback.
This will be BLACKPINK 's first comeback in two years. They last released an album in 2020 through THE ALBUM. BLACKPINK debuted under YG Entertainment in 2016 with the release of the single album Square One. Since its debut, the girl group consisting of four members has stolen the attention and is always eagerly awaited for its development.
