Album orders have started since August 11, 2022. And in just 8 hours, BLACKPINK set a new record for album orders on the Ktown4U site. Based on official data from Ktown4U, 84 thousand units of BORN PINK have been ordered.
This makes BLACKPINK the girl group with the highest number of orders in just one day at Ktown4U. BLACKPINK managed to beat the record previously achieved by its juniors. Currently the second position is occupied by the rookie girl group New Jeans with 81 thousand units of album orders and the third position is occupied by Aespa through the Girls album with 78 thousand units of album orders in one day.
Until now, album orders are still open. It is predicted that the number of album orders will continue to grow. BORN PINK was released a month after the pre-release single titled Pink Venom. The song will be released on August 19, 2022. After the official album is released, BLACKPINK will immediately undergo a world tour titled BORN PINK.
The concert will kick off in Seoul, South Korea on October 15 and 16, 2022. After that, the BLACKPINK members will fly to North America to hold 10 shows in 7 different states in the United States and Canada.
