Heads up! Song Kang is scheduled to meet his fans virtually and face-to-face this June! As the entertainment industry is slowly returning to its normal phase, the "Sweet Home" star announced that he would have an upcoming fan meeting. Song Kang's agency, Namoo Actors, delivered surprise news to fans, announcing the actor's upcoming activity.

Titled "2022 Song Kang Fanmeeting," the personal meet and greet will be on June 12, 6 p.m. at the Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin District, eastern Seoul, while the virtual fan meet can be streamed via Seezn. Song Kang's meet and greet will be free of charge; however, those who choose to attend face to face will be drawn from his official fan community and Seezn's social media.

Although he previously had an online fan meet, this will be the actor's first-ever up-close meet and greet since he made a debut in 2017. To recall, the 28-year-old star recently had his first virtual fan meet in partnership with Netflix. Hosted by the streaming giant via The Swoon, Song Kang greeted his supportive fans and entertained them with special segments.

It includes never-before-seen footage, photos, and performances of the actor. In addition, the special event also had a livestream chat where fans around the world interacted with one another. After graduating from film arts at Konkuk University, Song Kang made his debut in 2017 after landing a supporting role in the rom-com series "The Liar and His Lover."

Interestingly, in the same year, he joined the cast of the family drama "Man in the Kitchen." followed by appearances in two music videos: The Ade's "Sweet Summer Night" and "Love Story" by Suran. With his undeniable acting skills and charm, Song Kang had his first-ever lead role in Netflix's "Love Alarm."

His breakthrough performance as campus crush Hwang Sun Oh earned him another lead role for "Sweet Home" and a sequel for "Love Alarm." From then on, Song Kang's career was unstoppable, proving that he is the next big thing in K-drama. From being a rising star, he is slowly making a name for himself as a sought-after male lead.

Five years after his debut and a number of notable series like "Navillera" and "Nevertheless," the actor once again swooned fans with his role in "Forecasting Love and Weather." Song Kang is teamed up with Hallyu star Park Min Young as they portray employees at the National Weather Service.

Although the rom-com series aired its finale last April, the actor will return in a much-awaited sequel. Song Kang's new drama will be "Sweet Home 2," reprising his role as Cha Hyun Soo. Based on reports, the actor will be joined by some of the original cast, which includes Lee Jin Wook, Lee Si Young, and Park Gyu Young. In addition, Oh Jung Se, B1A4's Jinyoung and "Hellbound's" Kim Shin Rok are rumored to join the "Sweet Home 2" cast.
