Once Upon a Small Time is a South Korean romantic comedy drama series directed by Kwon Seok-jang and starring Choo Yeong-woo, Park Soo-young, Baek Sung-chul and Jung Suk-yong, with cast other member. We saw Choo Yeong-woo last time in School 2021 in 2021 where he played Jung Young-joo and Joy was last seen in The One and Only in 2021 where he played Sung Mi-do.
He is also a member of the popular K-pop group Red Velvet. Meanwhile, director Kwon Seok-jang's last directing venture is Bossam: Steal the Fate in 2021. A sweet and simple show about the lives of the people in Heedong Village, Kdrama follows veterinarian Han Ji-yul, whose grandfather tricked him into taking over the veterinary clinic in his native village for half a year while he traveled around Europe.
As he gets used to the problems and simple life in the village, he meets police officer Ahn Ja-young, who helps him find pleasure in the little things in life as well as overcome the problems that come with moving from a big city, like Seoul, to a small village like Huidong. Ji-yul and Ja-young bicker a little, now that she finally remembers her secret friend.
However, his growing affection for her prompted him to always care for her, resulting in some sweet moments between the two. The series will run from September 5 to September 28, 2022 on Netflix and KakaoTV. Once Upon a Small Town episode 7 will premiere on Netflix on September 19 at approximately 5:30 p.m. IST.
